Barely out of the Beaux-Arts, the international art scene opened its doors to him. Group exhibitions in vory Coast (his country), in Morocco and more ecently in Belgium; At 28, the artist is on the way to becoming one of the most important figures in contemporary Ivorian painting. Born on October 28 994 in the commune of Buyo (southwest of Ivory Coast), Mounou Désiré Koffi has always had a clea path in the world of art. Passionate about drawing since he was little, his vocation asserted itself very early when he won a competition while he was still in primary school. His educational orientation is obvious. After an artistic baccalaureate at the Ecole Supérieure d'Éducation Artistique (LEA) in Abidjan, from which he graduated top of his class, he joined the Beaux-Arts in the same city to obtain a diploma Mounou Désiré creates a happy marriage between mpressionism and figurative art. He asserts his own style by pushing the limits of painting with a touch that is as seductive as it is unpredictable. Indeed, the artist has decided to give a second life to users mobile phones. He then uses keyboards and screens to draw human silhouettes, which he inserts into ealistic and colorful urban settings.
